So is prostitution. But some consider it below their dignity, and for some it is just another job. So be it. So why is that there is so much hue and cry if an actor gets into prostitution? Isn't it just another honest means of making income?

Actors dancing in movies and actors dancing in someone's private pad is very different. They're essaying characters in movies, whereas at weddings they are selling their real selves off by dancing for strangers.

If I were an actor, I would never dance at someone's wedding. It's a personal choice. Unless of course I am desperate to make money.

I can understand actors like Sambhavna Seth, Rakhi Sawant if they dance at weddings because they hardly have another big source of income. Whereas for actors like SRK, Katrina, etc., there is no excuse whatsoever!

Exactly we dont care i just came now as to seeing why this topic as so msny replies.

Plus its upto the couple whether they want a celeb at their wedding, i dont think it takes away anything..in holly many celebs sing and dance at weddings..even celebs get other celebs to sing etc..as its entertainment..ye we not bothered Salman does but he hasnt in many years ( because not read on it, wheras srk still proydly dors and did in london in recent times) but some other phan groups bothered with celebs dancing ...i still dont get the big deal..i mean at yoir wedding only couple as their msin dance then djs, relatives, etc do things to entertain..but everyone knows its the couples wedding..plus you can look back and say see who was at my wedding..now were they doing obscentities then ..maybe..but srk is targted the most as he does the most outta everyone..

Be it on screen or live, an actor claims that he/she is a pure entertainer, who will do things to entertain masses. This goes correct when actors charge high to perform in wedding and events.

Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone, are few among more, who rule the chart of demand as wedding performer. It is heard that Katrina Kaif tops the chart by charging 2 crore for single performance in wedding.

Now a source close to Katrina reveals that the actor was paid in crores for her recent appearance at a high-profile wedding at theJodhpur Palace in Rajasthan. Incidentally, A-list Bollywood leading ladies are known to usually charge only between Rs. 30-45 lakh for a performance. "She performed to some of her hit songs. Of course, her item number Chikni Chameli was one of them and she was paid Rs. 1.5 crore for it," says the source.

Little birdie also divulged that she was not the only one to mesmerize the company there. "Priyanka Chopra also took to the stage, but we are not sure how much she charged to be there. But the figure is definitely not more than what Katrina was paid," inform source.

Well, this is just the cherry to the cake. The main story is yet to be revealed; the actor will perform again, early next month, at an event in the city, and she will be paid an even larger amount of money.

"She has already bagged a deal for another wedding performance. This will be at the Taj Lands End, Bandra, on December 3. She is getting paid Rs. 2 crore for it," says a source.
