Ranbir-Katrina Split Effect: Jagga Jasoos in Trouble
As if the film wasn't plagued with problems already
The cast and crew of the Anurag Basu-directed film were to fly to Morocco at the end of this month. But now, the team members have been informed that the schedule has been pushed to March.
This schedule includes filming the final portions as well as re-shooting a major chunk of the film, that was earlier shot in Cape Town. You know how Anurag is - the director had not liked what he saw after the South Africa schedule and decided to cheat shoot it once again in Morocco.
Now, the all-important schedule stands delayed by a good 2 months. That's surely not good news for a movie that has been in the making for almost 2 years now.
A source associated with the project says, "Everybody in the team is nervous about how Ranbir-Katrina's split will affect the film. And our fears seem to be coming true. This schedule is already pushed, let's see what happens next."
Well, it's not just the after-effects of the break-up that's hampering the project. The simmering tension between RK and Kat in the past few months has spilled over into the film.
Recently, the team had to shoot a 15-day schedule in Mumbai. Believe it or not, the shoot was hurriedly wrapped up in 3 days. This comes as a shock especially since Anurag is known to take his own sweet time, shooting and re-shooting sequences. But no such thing, this time.
Guess the memo had reached him - the lesser time the lead stars have to spend on sets, the better.
