I'm quite sure that by now majority of media's gaze is going to fixate on Ranbir Kapoor - Katrina Kaifs relationship and their breakup. Yes! The couple called off their relationship after staying being together for six whole years! They apparently broke up over irreconcilable differences' which quite evidently started during Ranbir's Tamasha with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Well, this has truly shocked a lot of people who rooted for the couple's happily ever after ending but it somehow didn't really surprise me. You might wonder why I'm saying this but with the points that I've made a note of, maybe your perception of the whole Ran-Kat relationship might get a new angle.

# Relationship status

Okay, first off, the couple never really made their relationship public and always had their guard up when it came to each other. We wouldn't have even known of their relationship if we didn't find their holidaying pictures that went super viral. So yeah, their resistance to not committing to each other gave us dicey views.

# Ideologies of marriage

Next I'd like to point at their idea of marriage. Word in the industry is that Katrina Kaif's views of marriage were poles apart from that of ex-boyfriend Ranbir's. While Kat wanted to get betrothed, Ranbir didn't really go along with the idea.

# Insecurity

Obviously, the insecurity in the Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani co-stars was quite evident, especially from Katrina's side. She is usually the reserved kind but in the recent GQ interview, she decided to finally let us in her den of privacy as she quoted, "My greatest fear is that if and when I get married and I am standing at the altar or the mandap, he (Ranbir) may not love me completely. That he may not know his mind well enough to be making those commitments. The anticipation of heartbreak is my only fear."

# Katrina's displeasure over Deepika-Ranbir's dosti

That's not all, Ranbir Kapoor and ex-flame Deepika Padukone's painting the town with their Tamasha was something that clearly didn't go down well! Which she again spoke about in her interview. She quoted, "I can't enforce my will on the people in my life. Their choices are their own. I may not be happy with them but I hope that as they mature or as they evolve, their choices will change!" Another hint, perhaps!

# Acceptance from Ranbir's family

In the GQ interview, she also hinted at the fact that she was not as close to Ranbir's family as she would like. In fact, her GQ interview spoke volumes of how tumultuous their relationship status was. She quoted, "I am not as close to Ranbir's family as I would like. But I would like to hang out with them more. Family would be a defining factor when I make the decision to marry. I am a very responsive person. So, if my partner gives me what I need, I can be the best girlfriend you can wish for." This again hinted at the fact that there was some sort of cold tension between Ranbir's parents and Deepika.

# Kissing gimmick

All this led to people speculating stormy weather in the Kapoor-Kaif's lovenest. But yes, the duo soon put the speculation chirps to rest when they were spotted kissing on the balcony of their Bandra house. It literally seemed like an answer to all the speculations of their relationship and to basically zip them up! Perfect timing, eh?

# Ranbir moves out of their love nest

So when the news of Ranbir Kapoor moving out of their lover's den in Bandra became a news again hinting at their breakup scenes, everybody patiently waited for them to refute the news and maybe come out in the open and finally speak of their relationship and further plans! But alas, that obviously didn't happen.
