I cant stand any of the current tv dramas- with their OTT storylines and just the same old stories! Even teh current number-1 show Naagin is a bit too much for me. I try to watch Indian shows so I can maintain my hindi speaking/comprehension skills but these shows are just TOO MUCH!

I heard there are lots of good Indian drama-series online on Youtube...Can anyone recommend any web-series or online-drama's for me? I would love to check them out

Rishta.com - really nice show. Really light not much drama at all. I really enjoyed it. Has about 26 episodes and they're all on youtube

Y-films channel has some good series. There was one called a man's world and another bang baaja baraat - they were good aswell - really different from other tv shows and they're all pretty short - like 5-6 episodes each

From the shows in recent years, you can check out all these shows on youtube

Sumit Sambhal Lega (this one has to be watched on hotstar, rest of the shows are on youtube)

YRF series like Rishta.Com, Powder, Khottey Sikkey, Kismat etc

For older shows, you can check out

Try Reporters - No saas bahu drama and kitchen politics. But other than that you will find all elements - Corporate conflicts, suspense, romance, a female lead whose not a doormat, great chemistry b/w leads, no un-needed bolly songs every other second and yes its a finite series too.

Indian telly is regressive, not a single show is worth watching.Agree on YRF..it's like a breath of fresh air, I LOVED those dramas Rishta.com and Mahi vey. Even their web series- Man's World was brilliant!!

Of the current shows, Every single one is RUBBISH.

Indian tv is basically divided into 2 - saas bahu type serials or savdhaan india types ... There is literally nothing else to watch. I haven't watched any indian serial in 3 months now

Instead i'm burning through korean serials ... they are Amazing ...

But still if you want to watch hindi tv serials then check out the older ones-

the ons that YRF made - like mahi ve, rishta.com, khottey sikkey, powder, BBB etc, sarabhai, 24, dekh bhai dekh, recently - sumit sambhal lega
