More starpower??

They both are the future of Bollywood, and are the only two guys from the young lot I can see replacing the Khan's, but I feel like Ranveer does have more star power, because 1) He's been here a bit longer 2) Has done more mainstream cinema that has been on a grandscale AND very successful - simply put more people know about him, but Varun is catching up as he certainly has the talent to do so.

Someone thought of making a poll with Ranvu's name in it in itself says he has arrived. 😃

lol @ ranveer singh's star power...he might be a good/very good/great actor(only yesterday i watched ddd and he really nice and cute and sweet as kabir) and a sweetheart offscreen but the fact that he is yet to give a clean hit without dpad says a lot about his star power...bm might get him his first best actor award but the main star attraction of the movie is still dpad.
Let's not forget all the 'next superstar of bw' articles during gunday after which the movie stopped at 70 or so crores..and that ddd isn't a hit either.

I don't know about varun much..but tweets that people went and saw abcd2 even during heavy rains and that even during dilwaale's shows he got much cheers say something

Varun does, the numbers speak for themselves.

Varun ...without a doubt...let us see how Ranveer will do in the next 2-3 movies...Varun has given all hit movies uptil now...while Ranveer has only BBB and RL to his credit...a critically acclaimed movie like Lootera proved to be a DUD...so did the commercial movies like KB, DDD, Gunde...so as far as starpower goes...Varun > Ranveer..

DDD is below average.

I would say Varun... all of Ranveer's hit movies are actually good.. which is not the case with Varun... even his bad movies work and are hit like Main tera hero, HSKD n ABCD(although he was good in all of them)... and they all opened to good nos.so Varun acc to me.
