Its may more to do with movie still those type of organised campaign in social media so also oppose near movie halls indeed effect business. Say anything against present state of affair or govt ,most of the govt supporters consider it personally and start like economic boycot or try to hurt business. Indeed they are large group its like a section want to boycot economically .its two way by ground nd social media ,weather imdb where they tag movie to 0 rating or organised campaign on online media. Keeping aside movie cancellection bcoz of vendalism this social media campaign also affect in through influence other so also imp thing is those who indulge in campaign also primary viewer of bollywood who boycott the movie. Indeed srk personal background also a reason for this campaign . I m glad that while he stand for his view rather than backtracking. Joh haar ke bhi jeet ta hai use baazigar kehete hain lol.

But can someone please explain how Indian movie theaters work? Are BM and Diwale not being screened at the same theater where the riots are going on?

The only time I've been to an Indian theater was in 2008 for God, Tussi Great Ho and I remember other movies also being screened at the same time...

As much as I despise this meaningless movie, but seriously, protesting over his comment with some cheap political agenda is disgusting.. It's really sad to see how any non-Hindu Indian who tries to slightly criticize our country, receives such backlash from these SenaTards 🤢 Felt really sad when SRK, after working for 30 yrs, being a law-abiding citizen, paying correct taxes, has to come up with defense statements on how he is a true blue Indian.. It's a shame on those protesters, not on him..

SRK as an actor not doing good movies, his arrogance, his greed for BO is all at one side, but asking him to prove his nationality and patriotismafter 50 yrs in this country is really downright perverseness !

I didnt know protests were also happening in US.. The film is equally doing bad in US/Canada and had the film been really good, they still would have done well, even if there were really lesser screens for DW.. I don know if I feel bad for him or mad at him..
