if you compare about Dilwale & BM, I will go to Kajol. Deepika character in BM so weak. Not because she is not good, but the character itself was written like that

I agree hundred percent.

Kajol I believe is a highly overrated actress, She limited herself to the type of films she acted in as well as the lead she acted opp. It was more the magic of SRK that reflected on her and she knew that ..she stuck to acting opp him exclusively almost avoiding his competitors even though her husband and SRK shared a negative relationship. I believe Kajol would not have half the actress she is if it had not been for SRK.

Deepika on the other hand has a wider range of performances as well as leads in the short time she has been in BW compared to Kajol. Kajol would be outside her comfort zone performing roles done effortlessly by Deepika ..RL & now BM. Deepika does not hesitate to experiment ..both with roles as well as leads. Take 2015 for instance ...her roles extend from Piku to Tamasha and now Mastani...all in one single year. Kajol has not managed to achieve this in her entire career.

Deepika has performed effortlessly opposite Irfan Khan , Ranbir Kapoor,Ranveer Singh this year but others like SRK himself as well as Saif . She did not hesitate to act with a newbie like Arjun Kapoor so confident is she of herself.

Deepika is ahead by miles.

Kajol has proven herself as one of the greatest of all-time. Right up there with Meena Kumari, Nutan, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit.

Deepika is at her peak right now, but needs many more years to reach Kajol's level. She has the potential for sure.

Oh definitely Kajol.

Deepika has improved tremendously in the past few years, but she still has a long way to go. She looks awkward in scenes where she's supposed to act all cool or give gaali (like in Tamasha).

Yes this I agree ..she gave a deadpan expression while giving gali in tamasha😆
