Having said that, thankfully the release is not small since Dilwale has got 3000 plus screens. So a 25 cr opening day would be considered historic, given that its a full working day. And going by the reports on advance booking, 25 is a given, almost.

Well, after the first 2 weeks are over, you have to count in the repeat audiences and the ones who missed it during first 2 weeks.

In India as well as here in the US, movies are not taken off theaters unless another big release is coming up. Next release is Wazir on Jan 8 which is not a biggie like these 2.

Here at my local multiplexes, small budget movies like Piku and TWMR as well as biggies like BB and Bahubali ran for 2 months at a stretch...that too inspite of other new Hindi movies releasing in between.

So its not like DW will be pulled off the theaters as soon as other new movies release. It can have a long run depending on what kind of contract the movie theaters have with the distributors.

I can't believe...the wait will be over in 2 days...i have been waiting for Dilwale since the announcement of the film when rohit reveal that SRKajol is going to be paired...the return if BW golden couple...i can't wait to see SRKajol romancing each other with hatred...angst and passion...a new intense love story which they have never done together...rohit has definitely set a notch high for SRKajol legacy...

Kajol herself said she is going to come visit Big Boss house in Faridoon IV.But PV had to give a totally new story as reason and fake connotations and get her bashed😆..Haila more negative publicity for Dilwale.IF PV is really run by PR of a particular actress like ppl say here,I've lost my entire respect for her cos of this truckload of negativity and vile rumours spewed on Dilwale team since past 1 month..So I take something back with me from Dilwale promotions.A new found liking for Varun and dislike for *ahem*😛😆

As much as I am not happy abt screen divisions,manipulations etc ,right now all of these cease to matter..I am booking my tickets for 20th of Dec and going to have a good time watching movie with my parents,cousins,extended family😳.Just hope Rohit Shetty made a movie worth all excitement and wait.I've full confidence of SRK-Kajol,Varun and rest for delivering their best as always.Hope all active members of this thread have fun watching Dilwale.All the best.⭐️👍🏼
