It does to a certain extent. For instance Ranbir If he didn't sound like a grandfather and look so boring I might like him abit. And sodumb and kangana as well both terribly annoying girls. Deepika should never do a movie with ranbir she is pathetic bt I like her coz she can act.

For me , liking a celeb off-screen plays a big part .

I am not sure if offscreen persona effects the fan base or not but onscreen persona sure does...All the heroes remain heroes in real life too, for the fans!

I don't think it effects them. I hate dp's off screen relationships and the choices she makes with men but I appreciate her acting and movies and become a fan.

The people who I don't like are people who I find boring on screen and then off screen is bad as well. I'm not a fan of few celebrities and I think we all know who they are😆 On top of that, they act like they are God's gift to men kind

yes and no, if one has enough talent to entertain one doesn't care as they cannot get enough of their acting, some are really bad actors plus bad offscreen which really does not help their case

It is these celebs which use their offscreen persona to charm the audiences, so them getting judged for these offscreen stuff is very normal!! If a celeb doesn't talk about their offscreen stuff much, then they cannot be judged!!

I agree with what somebody before me said- I may dislike an actor for what he is offscreen! But I will go see his film if it's a good one!! For eg- Salman for his case I'm not a fan of him offscreen but I LOVED BB! And thought he was great in it! I dislike Kangana offscreen these days but I cannot not agree she was fabulous as Datto!!

If you concentrate on your acting, & keep giving powerhouse perfomances, nobody would care about the offscreen persona!! But no acting, & relying just on personal life is a thing which can get you in trouble later on!! Yes 80% of the audiences don't care about offscreen person but in the long run, it is very important to sustain!!

Also I believe in some cases, an actor's offscreen persona does impact his acting. For eg- I was a big fan of Ranbir's acting but lately his depressing attitude offscreen has been reflecting in his perfomances!! It's just not a treat to watch him anymore!! On the other Deepika who is a mediocre actor is so high on success, that the liveliness of hers reflects on screen, her go-getter attitude does too!!
