However, I was not at the time BBB released along with many others who had no idea about his family relations to the Kapoor - this could have been used as promotion bate like they do with all star kids but it was not. And also, please don't compare Ranbir's claim to fame with Ranveer's. Ranbir was given a huge and extravagant debut with an A1 director, and another star-kid. Saawariya was EVERYWHERE that year it came out. BBB was hella low key and the main tidbit they used to promote it was the fact that Aditya Chopra had called Ranveer ugly and told him he didn't look like a star.Originally posted by: pallavi25

Ranbir was and has always been placed on a higher pedestal than Ranveer and despite that Ranveer is starring in his second SLB production, a dream role and a dream project while Ranbir has done films like BV and Besharam and still is considered an A-lister who no one can beat. If roles had been revered and Ranveer had delivered those flops he would have been a laughing stock.
Ranveer was Sonam's mom cousin not Anil kapoor's nephew plus their families had some panga i had heard it somewhere also Ranveer was struggler as he is not as handsome as a hero should be so he struggled a lot to get a break in BWOriginally posted by: pallavi25
