If he stops being OTT and starts dressing like a normal person then yeah, why not? 😆

At the moment Ranbir's chips are down, but then Ranveer isn't doing as great as he was expected too either, so it's still too early to say whether Ranveer can surpass Ranbir.

Ranveer is more likeable, and I feel like he has that SRK appeal when it comes to charm and personality offscreen. I see this working in his favour like it did SRK all these years. Plus, he can dance, and the western audience love him here in Canada and the US. Ranbir is more of a who? here, at least in the younger lot.
Ranbir is a good actor no doubt, but he is in no way better than Ranveer.

I wonder if this topic would have been made if Ranbir wasn't a star son, and Ranveer not. It's kind of annoying how star kids are placed on a pedestal regardless of whether they deserve to be, and in Ranbir's case, recently he does not.

Ranveer will never be taken seriously until he comes across as someone who is mature.

How an actor presents himself is very important. He has to learn that art.

Both Ranveer and Ranbir need to decouple from Deepika for us to decide who is more successful.

Both of them are very overrated as actors...one underplays his performances so much so that he sleepwalks through his roles (Rockstar excluded) another is so OTP & crass that viewers think ki "scene chhodo yaar naha ka aa jao dimag shaant hoga tumhara"😆

Ranveer is not a BW outsider. He is Anil Kapoor's nephew and Sonam's cousin. He comes from an affluent family, his dad is a businessman, he studied in the US, he is definitely not a struggler or an outsider.

That is the intended effect..it seems coz he apes SRK ...trying to be funny, overpraising costars, media friendly , etc...SRK never seemed desperate for attention...RS' biggest claim to fame is his alleged relationship with DP...Also at a similar stge in his carrier SRK was already a superstar..RS ia a wannabe..His clothes, his alleged love life everything screams for attention..He is a dictionary definition of wannabe!!!

There was a huge rumour that his father had financed BBB..that's show he got a lead role in the film!!!
He is a bandra boy..& celebrated b'days w/ kapoors(Anil)!!
He ain't an outsider by any stretch of imagination!!!

But that's all calculated..He ain't a fool...He seeks to create a unique positioning in front of media..See despite giving better performances & bigger hits, he gets talked about more than VD ..Why??
There's your reason!!!
