So I was thinking the comparisons that are going on and the comparisons that are inevitable. BM is going to get compared with JA no matter what. Looking at the trailer and the songs that are already out, I still miss the oomph factor that was there in JA. HR as Akbar was something else, while Ranveer as Bajirao seems promising, I still find him thanda in comparison to HR.
I know it's too early to ask but what do you guys think, will Ranveer as Bajirao overshadow HR as Akbar?
Yes or no?
I'll come back with the same poll after BM releases.😉

i dont understand why BM is always being compared to JA, Akbar was a king, a different character, a different story
Bajirao is a Peshwa, a general of an army, and his story is completely different

also the religions, culture between bajirao and akbar are also different

HR was perfect as akbar and ranveer is doing a really gud job as bajirao

HR body language is far far better as a king so RV can never overshadow him 😆

when the backdrop is on the nearly similar lines, comparisons are inevitable.
As for Ranveer as Bajirao, I have great expectations from him. He looks promising but I doubt if he would be able to touch the benchmark set by HR.
I saw the trailer and it looked promising but somewhere I felt the voice modulation that HR did for Akbar was lacking.
ps I like both HR and RS. 😳 but Hr is love.☺️

that was the pint actually. I just hope the movie is as good as the trailer was. The trailer has raised my expectations from Ranveer.

What a joke. Not possible. Hrithik was way too ahead of RV as Akbar.

but why is Akbar the benchmark for Bajirao? They r two different characters, HR became akbar and now ranveer is becoming bajirao

its better to look at them individually rather than together

I'm not a fan of historical stuff but Hrithik made me watch JA and he really sold it to me. I think it's one of his best performances

not a benchmark for Bajirao but for an actor who is going to play something on the similar line, you are not getting the context in which it was used.
Anywho, looking them individually but still comparing the way they have portrayed king/ warrior.
