'Not competing with Dilwale; media has made it into one : Priyank

Priyanka Chopra cleared the air on the supposed clash between 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Dilwale' and stated that Team Bajirao was not competing with 'Dilwale' at all.

Priyanka was speaking at a promotional event for her upcoming film 'Bajirao Mastani' where she clarified her stance on the issue of the 'clash' between the two big budget films which are both releasing on 18th December 2015. While Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' stars Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer and Deepika Padukone, 'Dilwale' has been directed by Rohit Shetty and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

Priyanka categorically stated that there was no feeling of competitiveness between the two films as they both represent different genres and have been directed by two great directors and that the entire feel of 'competition' was actually media manufactured. She said,

"We are not competing with 'Dilwale'. Both the filmmakers are great and the genres are different. We dont need to promote because 'Dilwale' is releasing on the same day. You guys have made it into a competition."

She also stated that Team Bajirao Mastani did not need to discuss much about the film as it spoke for itself.
