Dola Re. The song was on a never before seen scale and the music was grand. Though Ash did a much better job with the fluidity, movements and dancing... madhuri was good too even though a little stiff. But it was a dance of equals.. extremely talented dancers.

Pinga was okayish, Deepika was sort of mechanical and graceless... but priyanka's grace, expressions and beautiful movements made up for it. So dola re is 100 times better.

A mish-mash of lavni steps!

Lavni as a dance form is supposed to be energetic, upbeat and very, very spontaneous. The movements, as they say in colloquial language, are kadak. With Pinga, that's what goes missing. The flavour of the song compliments the dance form and the entire backdrop too backs it, given that both Kashibai (PC) and Mastani (DP) were Peshwanis and Lavni forms an important aspect of their traditional culture and rituals. You have an endearing Piggy Chops and an earnest Dippy trying effortlessly to make this track look beautiful but somewhere the choreography plays spoilsport to their sincere intentions. Even Deepika's Nagada and Priyanka's Ram Chahe Leela (both from SLB's previous film) were filmed better than this, to be honest! But here, although DP and PC do their part well, the song leaves us with a sinking feeling. The feeling that both the actresses deserved much better than this! Even Deepika and Priyanka would agree.

What an idiot?? Lavani and pinga are two different dance forms!

Peshwani?? Lavani is a dance done in tamashas to entertain audience!

Pinga is done duriu mangalagaur by women who have a good time during the festivities of shravan

This writer needs to get his facts checked!

This is pinga mixed with freestyle. NOT Lavani

The comparison is constraint by any way ! Even before the actual poster was released for the song, rumours spelled over net that PC-DP duo would be seen featuring together in the song ! Since than people have been making allusions and comparisons with the DOLA RE sequence.

Obviously and of course, sans an ounce of hesitation : DOLA RE ! Both Madhuri and Aishwarya danced as goddesses !!! The whole choreography was really complicated yet we could see how much they had trained themselves, to dance effortlessly and in such synch, having all the futile gests and moves by heart ! That was really a TERRIFIC DUO, who mirrored each other so well ! I still listen to it and it still gives me the same vibes than when I first listened to it ⭐️

With that song on, you can't just let your ass stuck down, you have to get up and try to imitate them even if you dance like gorilla 😆

Two A listers in that era vs. Two A listers in this era... Not fair to compare but still voted for DP-PC as they have worked their ass off for this and its SHOWING

i am liking mellowed down bhansali and his pinga. the beauty of pinga that bhansali has not gone OTT this time...the song is not loud, the sets, dance are all easy on eyes and ears.

the song, the music, the dance, the chorus, the COSTUME, the setting, ...i am liking it as much as ola reh. dola reh was superb, but at times i found too much shor sharaba...and too much bling bling. also ashwariya was too fast...liking running before the music takes off. and here dips is extra cautious, while pc is in sync. lots of similarities between pinga and dola reh

but i am enjoying this pinga..after a long long time a well choreographed song from bollywood. perfectly in sync, with music...and where was pc all this time?

dola reh was hit from word go...but pinga song may take time to grow...

Ash and Madhuri had a great chemistry. Both know how to say a lot with their facial expressions while dancing.

Dola Re was just on a whole other level. It had opulence pouring out in every corners. The dancing was grander and better. The entire background was larger-than-life and brighter. The acting was much more vibrant and attractive. Dola Re really felt like two legends getting together (despite the fact that Aish was not at Madhuri's level at the time).

Pinga was just really disappointing tbh. The dancing wasn't as grand (maybe that's because it's a different dance form?) and the entire background was just so somber (purple dresses with darker lightening) and it didn't feel like two legends getting together.

Dola re anytime. Both knew dancing.
Unlike pinga it's obvious one is lacking 😆
