why does media misquotes celebs??

I mean if you read articles that are made from statements given in press conferences.most of the time a particular statement is not even said but they write it in articles.

Because media wants attention and gossips. 😆😆 Its their job to make people read their articles. They don't always misquote btw. 😊

Because they want impact.

There is this Kdrama I watched which was based on reporters. A senior reporter says she makes a statement 'Senior reporter likes tall men.' which is not interesting. If she changes it to 'Senior reporter hates short men' that is interesting, and technically not incorrect, coz if you like tall men, you don't like short men. 😆
