What is the real aukaat of these so called stars?

is there any? apart from some whistles at red carpet etc?

you really have to ask this to these so called stars when the following happens

talvaar beats jazbaa

PKPN2 beats shandaar with a huge margin

so where is the superstar aishwarya rai standing when a konkona sen's even darker talvaar races ahead of her comeback that too after 5 years

also where do alia and shahid stand when 6 newcomers can collect twice more than shandaar with less than half its budget

earlier audience did the same with BV in which ranbir charged more than what the entire movie could make in a lifetime

BRAVO audience..BRAVO!! for finally proving content is the real star and showing these so called stars their true aukaat!!

work on content..hire talented people with half prices who can act..make budget under control and make profitable movies..

say no to these 2rs stars who only seem to increase the budget and bring nothing else..hope the production houses make these changes

Well talvar had koko and irrfan they are big stars but yes beating bahu rani 👏

Content or story is the hero in most cases nowadays, barring the khans though. But i don't think it's right the put down the more popular or glamorous stars , they all have different appeals. Put Koko and irfan in a dud movie,they will fail ,then they also have no aukat.Same thing is happening with Vidya.

More than stars it shows the worth of producers like Dharma/Phantom and directors like Vikas Bahl who go all out to promote bad films and then expect them to do well. Good songs, promotions and holiday openings can only do so much for a film. I hope they've learnt something out of this.

This applies to the directors and producers who hide behind these stars and also use the stars to promote their bakwas movies.

This also applies to 'fans' who spend day and night promoting their useless stars and bragging how many crores the movie made as if the stars or producers share those crores with them!!!

Content is king!

Valid points. And yet you have Alia and Sid sitting front row and centre at MAMI, while Irrfan Khan sits behind them. Audience has certainly woken up, and they give respect where it's due, high time the industry did the same.
