Yes you read it right! If the buzz from the overseas film business circles is to be believed, the producers of Baahubali are quoting 75 crore for the sequel.

This will include all the languages and the producers are hell bent on selling the entire overseas distribution rights to a single buyer/company. Buyers who met the producers of Baahubali 2 were shell shocked by the asking price.

As per sources they tried to bargain with the producers and quoted up to 45 crore for the overseas rights of Baahubali 2.

The producers aren't willing to come down at all as they believe that it is a reasonable price as they expect Hindi version of Baahubali 2 to do as well as the Telugu version if not better.

Seventy Five Crore is a huge price for any individual buyer to risk upon. Maybe some corporate company should come forward to release Baahubali 2 in overseas.

Interestingly the movie is yet to hit the floors and it would easily take one and a half year to see the light. But the producers are putting in their best efforts to close the business deals even before the film starts rolling.

Leading the nominations is Baahubali' directed by SS Rajamouli. The film has been nominated across a whopping 14 categories including Best Picture-Shobu Yarlagadda/Arka Media, Direction-SS Rajamouli, Leading Role Female-Tamannaah, Leading Role Male-Prabhas, Lyrics-K Shiva Dutta, Music Direction-MM Keeravani, Negative Role-Rana Daggubati, Supporting Role Female-Ramya Krishna and Supporting Role Male-Satyaraj. The film has scored triple nominations for Playback Singer Female-Satya Yamini, Geetha Madhuri and Damini and double nominations for Playback Singer Male-Revanth and Deepu.
