I will quit music if I ever do plagiarism: Amit Trivedi
Deccan Chronicle | October 15, 2015, 19.30 pm ISTMumbai: Known for his out of the music compositions and melodies, talented Amit Trivedi's latest album Shaandaar' is creating shockwaves at the chartbusters. Earlier reported, after 'Lootera', music composer Amit Trivedi is caught in another plagiarism controversy. One of the songs 'Nazdeekiyaan' from 'Shaandar' which features Shahid and Alia allegedly sounds heavily influenced by Coldplay-Oceans. Coldplay-Oceans was launched last year in June and few months later work on 'Shaandar' had started.
In a quick chat with DC, when asked about this, Amit Trivedi confirmed, "I swear on my music, I didn't copy it at all. I will quit music if I would ever do plagiarism. There are seven music notes, which are used in the entire world. It's purely a coincident that my song is similar to this one. I don't even know about this song. I will surely listen to Coldplay-Oceans after this."
