"Love and the Feminine Touch Can Conquer the Darkest Corners of the Soul"

As a society, as people, not just in India but it's a problem everywhere -femininity as an emotion, femininity as a quality. It could be kindness. Compassion is seen as a weakness when it's not. Even children and men who display these emotions are seen as weaker beings. We need to change that mentality. We need to respect femininity as an emotion, not suppress it or crush it, but to love and value it. History is a witness that if (there is) anything that could conquer the darkest corners of the human soul, it is love, the feminine touch.

When you start from a point that is so low because as a girl, if your birth is not a tragedy then it is at least a setback for your family. So it's difficult for you to take pride in your own self, to have confidence in your own being and your actions. Through films we can plant ideas in people's brains that can grow into significant things and bring out significant changes.

"I Don't Seek Anyone's Approval"

I don't think we need anyone else's approval as actresses. Women need to be confident about themselves. Others' opinions about you will always change, but we need to value ourselves. I don't seek anyone's approval. They dismissed me when I first started out. I was a nobody but today I am who I am because my understanding of myself never changed. As women, we don't want an approval. We should get up and get what we want for ourselves.

All of that is much better and makes a lot more sense than #MyChoice

People call her arrogant, but she has achieved a lot on her own. She had no godfather, no mentor nor is she the daughter of someone famous to be recognized as that person's daughter. She faced difficulties on her own, believed in herself, and ended up rising. She has every right to be who she is.

I like the way she thinks. She comes across as very independent, headstrong, and someone with a lot of conviction. If only, she was headstrong in her relationships, but maybe with time she has learned better.

Like u said, she has no godfather or a proper guidance in BW.. She was all alone and on her own and thus was vulnerable.. Its not entirely her fault too if she was in a bad relationship.. Some men love to take advantage of vulnerable women.. They think it gives them the dominance over their women.. Same time I wouldnt support her fully, but I can sympathise with her situation.. Anyone in her position would have been tempted to go the wrong route to achieve something.. Everyone make mistakes in life.. I just wish she doesnt run away from admitting them as mistakes.. There were times when she behaved like those mistakes didnt happen at all.. Otherwise I have always rooted for her since her first film and Im glad of where she stands today.. At same time, she should never forget where she came from and how much she struggled.. Cos life is a vicious cycle.. She has struggled against all tides and as a fan I just wish nothing goes against her in future..

That's true. I actually understand why she doesn't admit it most likely those relationship ended badly. I don't like it when she lies about them, but her lies are not as bad in comparison to others.
