No wonder Pwincess Sonam spends a fortune on her tonnes of makeup everyday...she needs it! 😆

Regular girls without makeup seen on the streets of Indian cities look much prettier than her!

I was under the impression makeup is used to enhance the features, yet all I see is the constant shaming of actresses without makeup.

I read this a while back on tumblr and think it is worth reading for all women:

Remember that you feel this way for a reason, that there are multi-billion dollar industries profiting off your insecurity, and that you've viewed thousands of ads produced by those industries since you were a child. Your lack of confidence has been manufactured. And you don't have to accept it. You can rebel. You can seek self love. You can dare to reclaim the parts of yourself society has told you to destroy.

Imo makeup is like salt , only a pinch should be carefully used to just enhance things up else..the reality can end up being distasteful..

I distinctly remember an aunt of me who overdid things to just stand out at her son's mrg..She actually succeeded in standing out ( but as a weird/brinjal face , every other woman was bitching/having great time at her back )..
