Raees is set in the 1980s and revolves around the story of a Gujarati bootlegger, played by Shah Rukh and Mahira will essay the role of his wife in the film. It is said to be a screen adaptation of a famous Gujarati don and Nawazuddin Siddiqui would play the role of a top cop.
