Stage fright? No way!

Amrita Arora: Slip 'n slide routine

First stage show: Smita Thackeray's Mukti Foundation in November 2002.
Number kya hai: I have done about 100 shows so far.
Running scared: Even today, I'm extremely nervous before taking to the stage.
Most memorable show: One was with Salman Khan in Dubai, and the other with Shah Rukh Khan at the Zee Cine Awards.
Most embarrassing moment: I once slipped and fell on stage and made it look like part of the choreography to cover up!

Dino Morea: Adrenaline rush

First stage show: The 2003 Bollywood Awards in New York.
Number kya hai: 10 shows.
Running scared: I don't get nervous. I love the adrenaline rush before a stage performance.
Most memorable show: My shows in New Zealand and Fiji Islands, because the crowd was amazing.
Most embarrassing moment: My shirt had ripped open once. But then it was fun!

Koena Mitra: No stress, no fuss

First stage show: Miss India finale in 2004.
Number kya hai: 70 shows.
Running scared: I simply enjoy a live audience, so I don't feel any stress.
My most memorable show: Star Gold's Sabse Favourite Kaun event. I paid a tribute to Parveen Babi and my act comprised 11 songs.
Most embarrassing moment: I have never been embarrassed on stage yet.

Kunal Khemu: Performance anxiety

First stage show: Star Gold's Sabse Favourite Kaun event.
Number kya hai: About 10 shows.
Running scared: I love dancing but I get very worried if I have to perform for an audience!
Most memorable show: My first show. I had hurt my knee badly and my original outfits hadn't been stitched properly!
Most embarrassing moment: So far, so good.

Ishaa Koppikar: Butterfly effect

First stage show: The IIFA Awards in Malaysia in 2002.
Number kya hai: 40 shows.
Running scared: I have butterflies in my stomach and cold feet before every show.
Most memorable show: The Aids Summit show for MTV in 2003.
Most embarrassing moment: Nothing so far.

Tanushree: Waiting in the wings

First stage show: The IIFA Awards in Amsterdam last year.
Number kya hai: Haven't counted!
Running scared: I feel extremely nervous when I'm standing in the wings, gearing up to make my entry.
Most memorable show: The Star Screen Awards earlier this year, because after that show I've had a deluge of film offers.
Most embarrassing moment: Once, I made a late entry on stage because the choreographer forgot to call me. I was late by half-a-minute but that showed me in poor light.

Udita Goswami: Day-tripper!

First stage show:
SaharaOne's Indian Diva show earlier this year.
Number kya hai: About 30 shows.
Running scared: For my first show, I was nervous as hell. But performing on stage gives me the greatest high.
Most memorable show: My first show will always be special. I had rehearsed for only two days.
Most embarrassing moment: I had once tripped while opening a Ritu Kumar show during my modeling days.

Upen Patel: Mixed feelings

First stage show: IIFA Awards in Dubai earlier this year.
Number kya hai: 10 shows.
Running scared: It's a mixed feeling. I get excited because I love dancing, but at the same time I get very anxious.
My most memorable show: The IIFA show because my parents and friends had flown in from London to see me perform.
Most embarrassing moment: I'm yet to have one.

Esha: Goofy act!

First stage show: A ballet performance of Meera as a six-year-old.
Number kya hai: I have done over 1,000 classical dance shows. My filmi performances include about 50 shows.
Running scared: For classical shows, I'm always calm and composed. For filmi shows, I get a tremendous adrenaline rush.
My most memorable show: A classical show I performed in Tirupati last year, and my first Odissi recital when I was 16 years old. My mom was more nervous than me!
Most embarrassing moment: During the Rockstars tour, I goofed up majorly. We were in Toronto and I told the crowd, "What's up New York?"
