PRDP Exclusive: 'Halo Re' Salman woos Sonam, says Aman Trikha
If you were regaled to the core with PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO's first song Prem Leela' featuring Salaman Khan, then gear up for yet another peppy folk song! While we have already got a Dussehra' celebration song in the form of Prem Leela', the upcoming track Halo Re' is set to storm Navratri festival! Yes, the next song from PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO is a Gujarati folk number featuring Salman Khan, wherein he will be wooing sassy Sonam Kapoor in the presence of Anupam Kher (who plays her dad).

Aman Trikha, who crooned both the songs Prem Leela' and Halo Re', says, "Halo Re' is a very romantic song. In the song, Salman Khan will be seen wooing Sonam Kapoor. Not only this, he will also be seen trying to impress her dad, Anupam Kher. Salman will be seen performing in their palace. The song is full of love, affection, teasing and nokjhok."
It seems after the poster of PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO was compared with HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM, now the new song (that will release soon) might just remind us of Salman's famous number Dholi Taro' from HDDCS. Ask Aman if Halo Re' is on the similar lines and he says, "Yes you can say that. But Halo Re' musically is slightly different." He adds, "Having said that, HDDCS song was picturised on Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan where both were involved. But Halo Re' has Salman in it completely. Because it doesn't have a female part, it's a male solo song where it's only Salman who is performing."
PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO is made under Rajshri banner (helmed by Sooraj Barjatya), who are well known for their traditional touch in the content of their films and songs. Talking about Barjatyas' ethnic touch, Aman says, "Barjatyas have always believed in showcasing ethnicity, ethnic culture and make their movies also the way they live and the way they think. Their movies are the reflection of their thoughts. They perfectly depict Indian culture and tradition. They exhibit hard core Indian folk culture. HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN, HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN etc. are great examples. So when you talk about royal and big families, you will definitely find the music also folkish. Halo Re' is one of the examples and people will really love it once it releases. It has all the ingredients of a perfect Navratri season song."
Indeed, after Prem Leela' we are waiting eagerly to groove on Halo Re'!
