Analyzing Kangana in Katti Batti (Spoliers Alert)

SPOILERS ALERT

Now that a few of us have watched this for Kangy and that the movie is a flop, I felt it was safe to discuss the only silver lining of the movie.

I, for one, would love to create a showreel of about 40-45 mins that only has Kangana scenes in the movie. She was really good in her role. 👏

I love how her smile has been underutilized. Nick shot her well on that front and this is perhaps the movie where she got some of the best clothes and a glamorous look.

A few moments to get started:

Devdas scene - Corny as it was, she added a nice touch of comic timing. She looked nice in that Paro look.
Entire 2 version scenes of her fight with Maddy when he was watching cricket with his friends. She looked so gorgeous in the scene and you could see how her mood changed instantly. That long dialog was very well delivered.
The slap at the wedding... that was one fierce look in the bridal wear. I can't wait to see her in the fiery look (Rani Laxmi Bai)
The airport scene - where he calls her name and she stops and you for the first time see a DIFFERENT Payal, who is on the verge of death. 😭 That was so well shot.
Then of course her performance while the Ove Janiya (Male) and then later (Female) rolled. That was the best part of the film, but it came too late.

I personally think she loves emotionally draining characters and she plays them very naturally.

There are a few other moments as well. Please share your thoughts and opinions. Would love to discuss them.
