Is Sidharth Malhotra underrated? - Page 2

Not in my opinion. People were criticising Akshay the most when Brothers failed even though he actually got good reviews whilst Sid didn't.

Dunno abt underrated but definitely over-critized here in this forum.
He's a decent actor & yes theres always scope for improvement.
And is a looker ❤️
I particularly loved him in HTP & I feel that was an underrated film including Sid-Pari as a pair.

Really!I thought,everyone was bashing Sid after Brothers,but still I don't know,how good/bad has Sid performed,coz I haven't seen the film!But I was happy after seeing Akshay getting such a good reviews from the critics,but at the same time feeling bad for Sid,coz he had worked really hard!Now I hope I will enjoy the film,btw have u seen it?

I actually feel he's overrated. Forget acting skills, I don't find him too charming either. He is definitely good-looking but to draw the audience in a frame that's not enough. I have seen SOTY, EV and HTP, none worth talking about tbh.

He's a good actor, not special though. Dialogue delivery sucks.

As in the blame seemed to be given to Akshay for the film not performing, I saw a lot of articles that called it Akshay Kumar's flop. While Sid's PR released a couple of articles highlighting the opening as his success.

I havn't seen Brothers so I can't comment on his performance in it but I've seen his other films and I do actually feel he's overrated. The negativity surrounding his acting abilities isn't all that high in my opinion. I'm not trying to be harsh but there always seems to be excuses for him not giving a great performance i.e the script wasn't good, screenplay was sketchy, role wasn't fleshed out enough stuff like that.

Though I do admire the way some fans support him and I'm not saying he won't ever prove me wrong and improve his acting skills, he seems hard working so that could happen, and all this is just my personal opinion anyway. I hope you enjoy Brothers when you see it.

I think all the models has started acting now,n it is also in a very impressive note!Like Arjun Rampal,he was terrible in his starting days,but now he is amazing!See John,he was also a bad actor,but now he has improved a lot,specially in Madras Cafe,he is outstanding there!N coming back to Randeep,I think he is a gem!He was a delight to watch in Highway!I truly feel that his performance was really underrated!Poor Randeep 🤢

His acting is decent but his looks are just ❤️
