He has never pretended to be poor, ranveer himself has said his dad is a businessman, ranveer himself has said he is related to sonam, ranveer hasnt lied about any of that

He just didnt use any of that to get into the industry, wen he debuted nobody had any idea who he was

There was an interview with Kjo a while back I think it was 2011 or something were he cries like poor guy who was outsider and how he struggled to get BBB and how he was lucky to get BBB after being auditioned for BBB which he was never auditioned because his daddy co produced BBB, It was his movie his daddy produced..It was so funny and I knew he was kind of lying. lol

his dad did not co produce BBB, ranveer said that rumour is a lie, BBB is a complete YRF film, his dad has no business in movies

And ranveer has never acted like he is poor, i hav never seen any interview where he acts like he is poor

And ranveer did audition for BBB, shanoo said aditya chopra chose him only after he went through the whole audition process

Yes. Average 40,50 thousand dollars per year...but you gets scholarships too, to the tune of even 100 percent on tuition..if you're very brilliant..or 70, 50 percent. Ranveer seems quite intelligent. students also work part time..

He might not be rich in the sense being able to finance a film, that takes multiple crores, but he may be well off enough to spend a crore on education. It's not the same thing. There are so many indian students or other third world countries who are upper middle class and managed to swing a seat in an American college.

If he didn't struggle for a film, WHY will he say he did? You can be like imraan and say you got picked after an audition...or Ranbir. What he gets out of lying. Shatrughan sinha is rich, is his son being launched by daddy's crores? Or kajols sister ..no one esp not yr parents can invest crores launching someone without talent ...Ranveer had to prove himself...and get hired by chopras. His dad didn't hv suitcase full of money to launch son. Like those producers sons ...hero of Ramayana vastaviya or hero of that Youngistan film.
