Salman .. For creating misleading buzz plus butchering an iconic love story of Bollywood .. I don't buy that script or 80s story is the failure as even Ashiqui 2 had a similar 90s kind of script with potential newcomers who were much less hyped than the wooden Sooraj and evergreen pout queen Athiya ..

Even a bad scripted and OTT film like SOTY worked where Sid was wooden, Alia and Varun were cringeworthy .. So what's the bullshit of blaming on script and new comers ?

These days Bollywood films depend on good marketing strategy and a well made film esp with youngsters .. And here was a. film that had superstar Salman involved , and still it fails and people have the audacity to blame the script ?

Salman and every producer out there should realize that they can't sell star kids if they are not talented .. So what even if Salman launches them, he himself didn't do anything to extract a decent performance from them ..

I watched the film, and I must say that it was obvious why Sooraj hadade 6 packs and dances and gives pathetic lame dialogues in every scene of the film .. Salman wanted to make Sooraj do whatever he does but if they would have kept it more subtle and real , it would be better ..

Athiya is another SoDumb but better than SoDumb at least her voice doesn't pierce my ear like a needle

Let's change the topic s little whose to blame on Katti batti? I blame the directir and it's a producer job to promote star kids or not how do we measure talent? Is it inborn ? Why not people lashing at tiger oh because heropanti was a hit a movie becomes a hit do then the person talented ? Sooraj is a star kid but not in real sense as his dad no big shot ., whereas tigers dad is well known his debut is this movie but I too think that story isn't the reason, but the direction, and yes the casting ESP the girl who most complained isn't pretty, sooraj by people who saw it were ok with him as they said he can dance and knoes Marshall arts hence he's at par with tiger, but yes It was a mistake to remake a movie that most have seen and that with newcomers..plus I guess back then this story was suited back then but not now so in that way I can see why people think story is lame .. and those who seen the previous movie surely will compare, with new comers better too just do a new movie then a remake
