Same with Chawlas ...

Edit : Chawals are Arora

there are some Bhatias who are pure Sindhi...infact they only marry within Bhatia Sindhis as well... most of them are settled in Delhi, Ahemdabad and Kalyan (near Mumbai)...they have their own community and rituals...

What bullshit. The language, customs and culture is the same.. just the religion is different and even that is not always the case as Malerkotla in E-Punjab has a majority Muslim population 😆

If Mac Mohan was Sindhi then Raveena Tandon is half-Sindhi as well given that he was her mother's brother.

Sadhana was Sindhi. Another actress from the past Kumud Chugani was Sindhi. Isn't Hrithik's mom Pinky Sindhi as well?

The misinformation in this thread is off the charts 😆
Akshay is as Punjabi as they come. I was always under the impression that most Punjabi Bhatias were Saraiki/Multani speakers who have a distinct identity. Wonder if this is the case with Akshay as well.

Juhi Chawla is also Punjabi, not Sindhi.

Sonakshi Sinha is part Sindhi - her mom's Sindhi. So is Sonam Kapoor ( I think plenty of Sindhis come out of the woodworks when you start counting the half and quarter Sindhis).

Arjun Kapoor's late mother Mona was also Sindhi.

If that's true then he's the hottest Gujarati ever 😆 - don't judge, I find Shekhar hot.
