I watched welcome back yesterday.. John was the weak link.. This movie would have been so much better if it was akshay or someone else.. God John was awful..

Purely my opinion.

It's very rare that people do improve. Barring a few expectations, most actors who are good show their promise early on and those who are bad remain bad.

Hmm...what should I say atleast he tries, even in his weakest genre...going out of comfort zone. Only here at forums and discussions people are tagged actors and nonactors. "The premeditated notions " Common people go to enjoy film.

John I believe is purely a director's actor. His movies take force, SAW, new York jhootha hi sahi Madras Cafe, his very first film jism, etc...is where he flourishes.

He will keep working hard till people like to see him on screen. 👍🏼

I agree with this.. I thought hr was pretty bad in khnph..and fiza.. But he has done decent ever since..with Jodha akber as his best way work..

Deserve a watch for anil and nana.. They have carried the movie on their shoulders..great acting in a brainless comedy..

There are a couple of scenes that are hilarious.. Rajpal yadev had made a cameo appearance and those scenes are absolutely funny..

That is really surprising, tbh. I think John has done decently in comedy in the past (Garam Masala, Dostana). Like someone mentioned earlier, the director has to extract a worthy performance from him. It's true that he is not much of an actor by himself but he is capable of delivering more than what we give him credit for.

John has pre-set facial expressions that he uses to get by entire movies... most of the time it is the one where he looks angry or intimidating... once in a while you'll see him laughing or smiling too...
