Social media and news circuits are currently taken over by the Jasleen Kaur incident which started off when the Delhi-based girl posted a picture of a biker saying that she was eve-teased and obscenely abused by the guy who had no fear of the police either. Naturally, being the girl, the whole nation gave her the benefit of the doubt and came out in support of her. One among her supporters was actressSonakshi Sinha who tweeted, " "Well done Jasleen! Hope this serves as a warning to all the creeps and encouragement to every girl to take action!"
But it recently came to light that the victim in the case was not Jasleen but the man who was falsely accused and jailed. An eyewitness informed the police and the media that the girl had a little argument with the guy over him jumping a signal and she was the one who started abusing while the man simply asked her to mind her own business. That's when she snapped him and went ahead with the whole drama.
Sonakshi, once again took to Twitter to apologise for wrongly judging the guy. She recently tweeted, "Being a girl, gave the benefit of doubt to Jasleen, like many others! And like many others am embarrassed n let down! Apologies to the guy."
Obviously her fans were impressed by the divas actions and mentioned how it took guts to admit your mistake and apologise on a public platform. To this Sonakshi said, "Admitting a mistake and apologizing doesn't make anyone a smaller person...thats what I've been taught!"
True that girl! Kudos to the actress for being a bigger person!
