Hershu - read this about size zero..the audio launch of Size Zero', which is supposed to be held on September 6th, has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.PVP Cinema will announce the new date soon.

@bold - Yeah, it is very common these days.. Some of them come because they are close to the actors/director of that movie/etc. Sometimes whoever is organizing the audio launch call acclaimed director as the VIP

@ bold - Usually, in these old movies with king, queen stories, the queen calls the king as "king".. so in tamil, it would be something like
Manna, Arase/Ilavarase (if he is still the prince when he gets married to her), Maharaja..

I really hope they can find another word that means the same because the ones I mentioned above can be used by any common man for Amarendra.. I want something more private & personal between the two..

If we go with any of our ideas, where Amarendra meets Deva in disguise, they might've introduced themselves with a fake name (Amar or Deva), or they might've scolded the other person by some name.. it would be nice if they continue to use those names as endearments later.. You know how we sometimes fondly call our close ones "rowdy" or "Rakshashan/Rakshashi" nowadays .. something like that..

Ya,I agree.instead of the usual 'maharaaj /samrat ',itd be interesting if they had nicknames for each other (or atleast deva had one for baahu,if as per our guess, they ever met while disguised. ),baahu can fondly call her deva .

Meenu mentioned in pg 144 that 'raajugaru' would be apt in Telugu .I agree,it sounds sweet.

Hindi:'yuvraj' seems fine.isn't it??

In Tamil :manna sounds too formal.so does arase /ilavarase.but can't rule them out.

(And the problem is whatever they call in Tamil ,they'll literally copy it without a thought in Malayalam, and imagine having devasena call him 'rajakumara' or 'Maharajaa '/'yuvarajave'😕.)

So considering the language issue,I think amarendra would be just fine. (Though those days, the queen wives never took their king's name, and they never showed how shivgami addresses bijjaladeva. )

Rajkumar/ Yuvraj sounds so awesome😉☺️
and then Amarendra can ask her to address him by his first name/ Amar😉😳😆

Id be happy to see her address him as "Jaanu' or better "DARLING" though😉

@bold - that would be good.. or some other name (only Deva should be calling him like that)

Darling would be good but no chance for that..😆

seriously - She may just not call him anything in specific..I dont think they were allowed to take their names back then, so high probability is that she just called him "Aap" or Veer-eshwar (as in Brave person?)? in telugu?😆

imagine devsena saying this -

Devsena - "Aap Khaaney main kya khaayenge?"😳
Amar the hottie - *Scratching head* Mischievous smile - "Aapko"!☺️

🤣

Yeah, she may not take his name after marriage, but what about before that? I guess something along the line of Rajkumar Baahubali/Yuvraj Baahubali.. etc..

@bold - love it..😳😆

Yeah, I don't want her to call him how everyone calls him.. that is too boring.. maybe a twisted version of his name or some other name for "maharaja".. Yup, they would if they did meet before.. so they can continue with that.. Yeah, Baahu calling her Deva would be good..

Yeah, that is good in Telugu version (love it Meenu!!) and yeah, it seems fine in Hindi

Tamil/Malayalam: Yeah.. seriously, I so don't want her to call him any of the ones I mentioned..

Yeah, they never took the husband's name.. but I don't mind ignoring that fact, if we will get some good name..

@bold - Really? Any guesses besides the fact that Sivagami couldn't haveve safely escaped through that waterfall especially when she were hurt?

I understand that it was a growing phase.. but something didn't click for me with their track.. but yes I liked him after his entry into Mahishmathi.. Yes eagerly waiting for Amarendra-Deva track

With loyalty there also comes the burden of guilt when something goes wrong, goes to show you where there's good there is also bad to every situation.

That's probably the reason either the soldiers lied or Shivgami's body was found or she was completely missing, all can be reasons to assume the baby was dead. To be honest I don't think Bhallaladeva put much thought into it because he felt most inferior to Amarendra and to an extent with Devasena so once they were in his grasp he moved on to his other plans. Also if Bhalladeva is the one who attacked Shivgami (she had a few arrows in her body no?) so he would be confident that he's shots killed her sooner or later.

Let's see Shivudu's journey to becoming Mahendra and see how that goes 😃

I really hope they do.. even just one or 2 scenes..

I agree, if they take some extra time, no one is going to complain but want a good complete movie with everything - love, drama, war, etc..

Ratna, if Baahu was of age when his father died, then he would become the next king.. but because he was not, and Bijjala was his brother too.. it would technically go to Bhalla (as he is elder).
Sivagami is definitely the epitome of justice.. If she had wanted, she could've easily made Bhalla the king.. no one would've dared to speak against her.. but she didn't. She gave both her sons equal chance.. well explained!thanks ishita.

@italics - I agree.. how did she live with him? their marriage might have been a sort of political alliance.

With regards to Bhalla though, I don't think she knew him as well as she knew Baahu.. Bhalla's character is suppose to be a little mysterious.. no one really knows what he is thinking. He never says anything or rebels against anything (in the flashback in part 1). Yes being the mother, she probably knew that they were different but don't think she knew the extent of it.. She only saw a glimpse of him in the war (where he didn't care about the people of his kingdom).. exactly.bhalla was very silent in the fbs in part 1,never vocal about his wishes even in front of his dad who openly supported him.ya,but she saw a glimpse of his ruthlessness during the war,and she would've decided that he would not be the king whatsoever is the outcome of the war.baahu's actions just gave her a valid reason to put forth her point, and she was delighted.

i saw somewhere in a blog that why shivgami never admonished bhalla for killing the kaalakeya king, when her instructions were something else??[thats why baahu stopped for a moment and bhalla took advantage of that.]

SSR himself had said that.. he makes his villains super villains because when the Hero takes the villain down in the end, they become Superheroes.. It's just making the villain strong so that Hero is shown to be even stronger in the end.but here though in the climax, mahendra will win over bhalla, but showing bhalla doing away with amarendra in the war[even if by crook.] is tbh giving too much importance to the villain and unfair too.
