When Ash was working promoting movies on reality shows wasn't a big thing, that kind of blew up in the late 2000's...which is why in 2010 she did attend TV shows for promotions.

She came on a cooking show in 2010, and even besides promotions - she has also performed twice on some television awards show. She's also attended many television award shows without performing. So its not anything new.

In Bollywood "Publicity ke liye kuch bhi karega" applies to all. Doesn't matter if you're a Khan, Kumar, Kapoor or even a Bachchan for that matter. You gotta do what you gotta do to get viewers and the Moolah.

Jazbaa is not produced by Aishwarya for her to decide where and how she will promote her movie...She is just an actor in the movie and is following what her director/producer wanted her to do...

Actually these TV appearances and promotions started only in the past 3-4 years during which Aishwarya wasn't working in the movies...So I don't think she is starting anything new or stooping anywhere when she is doing the TV promotions...TV is a very powerful medium now and in any case its not like she decides on the logistics of promotions and stuff...
