Salman Khan confirms that he will team up with his sister, Alvira and brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri for a film; it won't be a sequel to their 2011 hit. They last collaborated on the hit film, Bodyguard (2011), and now, Salman Khan has confirmed that his next project " after Aditya Chopra's production, Sultan " will be a movie with his sister, Alvira and brother-inlaw Atul Agnihotri. Interestingly, contrary to rumours, the film won't be a sequel to the trio's last collaboration. Ever since the original film released, it was speculated that part two was underway.
"There's one film, which we haven't titled as yet. We have just locked the script. It's a very emotional story. I will be doing that film with Atul. He will be producing it," says Salman.
Rumours were also rife that Atul will be directing the film. But sources claim that Alvira and her husband will only produce the venture. When contacted, Atul refused to divulge any details, saying, "We will make an announcement when everything is confirmed." However, a source says that the movie will be a love story with a lot of action.
This year, Salman will be seen in film-maker Sooraj Barjatya's next, which will release around Diwali this year. The shooting for Alvira and Atul's film will apparently commence after the actor wraps up Sultan, which will be the actor's Eid release in 2016.
Arbaaz Khan
After having starred in Dabangg (2010) and its sequel, Salman will also be part of Dabangg 3. It will apparently release on Eid in 2017. In all likelihood, part three will also be helmed by Arbaaz, who directed the second film in the series.
Aayush Sharma
Salman's brother Sohail will reportedly be launching their brother-inlaw, Aayush Sharma (Arpita Khan Sharma's husband), in his film by the end of this year. Apparently, Salman will feature in a dance number in the movie. The track will be composed by Mika Singh.
Sohail Khan
After directing Salman in last year's Jai Ho, there has been no official talk about the siblings teaming up again. But trade buzz suggests that the two are contemplating reviving Sohail's long-stuck project, Sher Khan in the near future.
