Has Shahid Kapoor found a place in Dharma camp?

There's a strong buzz that reality show co-judges Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar are bonding big time outside the show as well. Their newfound camaraderie has become a talking point among industry insiders. The just-married Shahid's frequent visits to the Dharma office have triggered speculation of them working together soon for a big-ticket project.

Shahid and KJo's friendship is working great for their television show and the promotions of Shaandaar. But it seems Sasha's rival actors and Karan's protgs Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra may not be too pleased about their mentor's shifting of focus. "Shahid has been openly lobbying for yet another big film from Dharma. With the positive response to the trailers of Shandaar, the possibility of teaming up again are extremely bright," says a source from the production house.

While Sidharth is busy filming Kapoor & Sons, Varun has a long wait before the commencement of Shuddhi. Just like Alia Bhatt replaced Karan's once-upon-a-time favourite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the camp by bagging all the big films, is there going to be yet another change on the hero front? With the success of Haider, subsequent awards and top filmmakers vying for Shahid's dates now, he seems to be enjoying an edge over his contemporaries. And that gives them some reason to worry.

If Shandar fails then I'm sure KJO won't even look at Shahid twice. 😆😆

I hope Shahid doesn't confine himself to one 'camp' so to speak. I wanna see more Haider-type performances from him.

I can't say much about Sid but both Varun and Alia have it in them to survive outside Dharma. Be thankful to your mentor but think professionally. It's going to harm their careers if they don't work with other producers and directors.

As for Shahid, he just has Shaandaar so doesn't matter if he does another film with Dharma but again I hope this camaraderie draws a line on the professional front. He is so versatile, it would be tragic if he limits himself like that.

Flop or not, I doubt Shahid'd care. He may joke about or wanting to work with ... but he was never desperate to work with Dharma or YRF. Otherwise, he would't have refused their projects in the past and be where he is today. I highly doubt he will confine himself to one camp.

Nah.. I don't see any friendship between Shahid and Karan.. It's for Alia.
Arjun, Sid, Varun- Done.
Ranbir, Sid, Fawad, Varun - on the line.
Left out young hero is Shahid.. so yeah. .
He will next go to RS, ARK 😆
