We were the first ones to tell you that Karan Johar and English Vinglish director Gauri Shine are collaborating for a project. And today, the filmmakers announced their joint venture. But the real surprise has come with the casting of the film. Calling it a coup will be an understatement. For the first time ever, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will romance each other on-screen.

We've heard the film is a love story between an older man and a young girl and will be directed by Gauri Shinde. Karan Johar, who's co-producing the film, ecstatically tweeted and announced the project.

SRK has already finished Fan shooting.
Dilwale will be over by September.
I heard Raees last schedule will happen in Oct-Nov.
so SRK can start this film early next year and I guess this will be a small film.Won't take much time.
