Mumbai: Salman Khan fans, also known as Salmaniacs have yet another reason to party hard! And thank God it's Friday! The song sung by the hunk of a superstar for his debut production venture- Hero' - has got over 7 million page views!
Main Hoon Hero Tera: Salman's version becomes a hit, crosses 6 million views
Salman Khan has received an overwhelming response from his fans for his song- Main Hoon Hero Tera.
If the actor Salman Khan can set the box office on fire with his superhit films, even the singer in him is not far behind. His songs can also top the list of chartbusters, and Salman has proved this with his latest number Main Hoon Hero Tera. The actor, who recently went behind the microphone to croon a song for Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's upcoming film Hero, has received an overwhelming response from his fans.

Within ten days of the release of the romantic number, the Salman version of Main Hoon Hero Tera has already crossed 6 million views on YouTube. Touted to be the love anthem of the year, Main Hoon Hero Tera has become an instant hit with his fans.
Although, this is not the first time that Salman has sung for a film, but hardly has any of his songs sounded like his latest one. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor is producing the film Hero under his banner Salman Khan Films. From releasing the trailer to introducing Athiya and Sooraj on Twitter to singing a promotional song, the actor is doing everything to go that extra mile for the debut star cast.

Recently, Salman also revealed a new poster of Hero on micro-blogging site Twitter and asked his fans to brace themselves for September 11.

The film is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 hit film Hero and Sooraj has stepped into the shoes of Jackie Shroff to play the titular role. While Athiya Shetty plays Radha in the remake. Directed by Nikhil Advani, Hero is a love story and stars the two new actors as rebels. The film is set to hit the theatres on September 11.
Last time Salman Khan took the mic was when he sung Hangover with Shreya Ghoshal for his last year Eid release Kick. This time, Salman has sung a song for his latest productional ventureHero featuring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. And guess what? The romantic number has been loved so much on the digital platform that it has already raked in over 5 million hits on YouTube.
Titled Main Hoon Hero Tera, the song has Salman crooning a soothing, melodious love song, which is starkly different from his last song Hangover. There are two different versions of the song. One of them is sung by Salman himself which has been up for everyone on the film's YouTube handle. The other one is the original version sung by Armaan Malik.
Sweet and extremely melodious, it's touted as the love anthem of the year. With Salman's quirky way of rendering it, coupled with the nice video where you see Salman singing, smiling and adding his touch to it, Main Hoon Hero Tera has become a sensation among the youth. The result? The song has already received around 5.5 million hits on YouTube, by far one of the highest numbers for any song for any film in 2015.
Whether it's the box office or the digital platform, it's all going Salman's way for now. Sooraj and Athiya will be seen romancing each other in the film which releases on September 11 this year.
