I think the KAPOORS have really contributed A LOT to Hindi Cinema.
It all started with Prithvi Raj Kapoor who was basically a pioneer of the Hindi film industry. He was prominent in 40s and 50s.đ
Then Raj Kapoor took over and became a superstar in the 60s.đ Shammi Kapoor was also there in the 60s .
Then came Shashi Kapoor in the 70s , which was a rocking decade.đ
Rishi Kapoor became a rage in the 80s. âď¸
Then we had Karisma, who carried on the legacy in the 90s.đ
and then along the line, Kareena came in 2000. Perhaps the only actress who survived the whole 00s decade, considering how zig-zag and inconsistent it was.đ
and now Ranbir is carrying on in the 2010s.
I mean that's like FOUR generations. Their legacy amazes me sometimes.
I love the fact that there is/was always at least one Kapoor family member at a given time who is/was prominent the industry.đ
