Abhishek Varman's next is going to be a period love story

After 2 States', Abhishek Varman is ready to announce his next film. And we have learnt that his second film is going to be a period love story set on partition.

Director Abhishek Varman has been busy working on the script of his next film after the success of his debut movie 2 States'. Abhishek loves detailing and hence his focus on this movie is even more than his debut one.

The period love story was actually Karan Johar's idea initially and Abhishek liked it. He then took it from there and started scripting. The film will be a love story set in partition time is now completely ready and good to move to the next stage.

2 States' starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt received an overwhelming response from everyone. And we learnt that many actors are keen to work with Abhiskek on his period film. He has however not yet started finalizing the cast for the movie. In fact, he hasn't even shortlisted any names, says a source.
