Imran atlas was decent in many of his films such as Dehli Belly, JTYJN & IHLS

Sid is being brutally thrashed in everything he attempts 😆

He also got good reviews. The movie as a whole is getting panned, and most of the criticism is aimed at direction and screen play. But still, when you think the movie is the worst thing you've ever seen you are not going to enjoy the acting either. Between Akshay, Jackie Shroff, and Sid, Sid is the weakest link so naturally he's getting the brunt of the acting criticism.

None of us Sid fans here ever claimed that he was a great actor. Though personally is still maintain that he is not as bad as he's made out to be. Yes even still after these harsh reviews I still don't think he's as bad as those handful of reviewers think he is. Brothers definitely didn't turn out the way anyone thought it would and it will be a set back, though probably not as much for him as it will be for Karan Malhotra. But I think in the long run he will be fine.

Everyone faces these kind of set backs. I'm sure he's disappointed but tomorrow's another day. He's spent the first few years of his stay in Mumbai facing criticism and rejection. He's a survivor.

I hope Shaazi doesn't mind me copy and pasting the positive reviews for Sid that she had posted on another thread. But not all the reviewers hated his performance.

Sidharth Malhotra brings quiet intensity and an unpredictable fire to his part as the brooding tough-guy. Both actors convey a delicate fragility that's essential to your being invested in their characters

Sidharth Malhotra also has done just as well. It is just his fourth film and he has come a long way from Student of The Year. In his eyes, we can actually glance at the hatred for his brother

The bearded Sidharth is all brooding and menacing, and he looks buffed-up and muscular, no doubt. Their casting is a big plus for the movie and their actions, workouts and moves in the 'Brothers Anthem' training montage is the best part of the film..

Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra: They are the only saving species of the movie. Their efforts must be appreciated.

Sidharth Malhotra doesn't have have much dialogues but his brooding angry young man look steals the show.

Although we saw Sidharth Malhotra in an almost similar avatar in Ek Villain, he is convincing as the hot headed fighter, Monty Fernandez. With his bulked up body, bad boy attitude and rage in his eyes Sidharth's performance is applaud worthy. However, the anger he has towards his brother is not entirely justified in the film.

Sidharth Malhotra is also very good in a subdued role. He lets his eyes and body do the talking in several scenes - and to good effect. He is excellent in the MMA fights.

Sidhart is the next John Abraham.

That's the issue with hot men ... models ... The forget to unwooden emselves. Take John Abraham for an example ... Even after all these years, he didn't learn.
