So this is a spoiler picture from official making of bahubali trailer.

Is that a weapon he is trying to stop ?
Maybe bhallaladeva has asked someone to attack bahubali in this scene .

Regarding how Bhallaldeva became king , i guess it has to do something with Bahu-Devasena equation. Maybe Rajmata didnt wanted them together.

So there is this spoiler i heard from my friend who said its Sivagami who ordered Kattapa to kill Baahubali..This is a legit spoiler as far as i know 😆 Since Kattapa is a slave to the throne, he wouldn't ever kill Baahubali if he was the king..So logic says Baahubali was not the king at that point 😆 There is this other spoiler i read which says Shivagami banished Baahubali from the kingdom cos he married Devasena against her wishes..And am assuming Devasena was an outcast..So in between, am sure something more happened and Sivagami was under some sort of MU so she ordered Kattapa to kill Baahubali..If you notice, Sivagami in the first scene says she has committed a lot of sins..And her giving up her life to save the baby sorta convinces me that she only got Baahubali killed 😆

Agree with you,shivgami might have made kattappa majboor due to his promise.but devasena,in all probabilities, is the princess of kunthala kingdom,and not inferior to mahishmati anyways.and if shivgami opposed.Then how did a grand ceremony happen for bahu-devasena (see my reply to first post. )

U remember the map shown in the beginning of the movie??in its mentioned about kunthala hideout -that's where avantika and her tribe were hiding to free rani devasena. All these things have some interesting connection.

Ya better rajamouli show a good story of bahu devasena, the first half of part 1 was dedicated to shivudu avantika 'meh' romance (sorry but I didn't find their love story very exciting, and prabhas anushka has got great chemistry too.)

But do u remember BHALLALADEVA 's dialogue to devasena in part 1 that she chose bahubali instead of him??so there's scope for triangle story .

i also read that devsena kattpas daughter
n kattpaa is from lower cast
i think babhubali lie to shivgami that she is princess thats why that grand engagement
but after that truth comeout n shivgami gets angry
n i also think kattpaa dosent know bahubali is in love with his daughter

Agree with roger.

Sivagami probably realised that mahismati will never prosper under bhallaldeva's tyrannous rule. Thats why she ran away with the baby which bhallaldeva obviously wanted to get rid off.

However if bhallaldeva is king, maybe he was the one to order kattappa to finish off baahubali??😕
