Gaurav Gera, who's been a part of some memorable comedy shows is now more recognised for his iconic characters- Shopkeeper and Chhutki. But Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra planned a small surprise for all their fans, including Gaurav Gera. During the promotional tour for Brothers, the duo made their own version of Gera's characters and posted it on Twitter.

While Sidharth played Shopkeeper, Akki chose to be Chhutki. And believe us, this is possibly the most hilarious thing you'll watch today. Calling it the 'Brothers version of the now famous shopkeeper video', Akshay and Sidharth pull off a killer video, leaving everyone in splits.

Taking the digital platform by a storm, Gaurav's characters have become iconic with Dubsmash videos being made on the same. Although Sid and Akshay didn't make a Dubsmash, they created their own joke and executed it in the funny way Shopkeeper and Chhutki usually converses. Brownie points for the way the two stars actually nailed it. Guess what, we're still laughing!

I think it's around 80, but even that's not confirmed. I don't know what the promotional costs are. And then there is satellite rights that sort of brings the costs down and all that. A while ago one of the distributors tweeted that he will be very happy with a final number is around 160 cr. And that was before the promotions had even started and the movie had very little hype.

The 100cr rumor was started by that idiot KRK. The other day he tweeted his review of Drishyam but in order to get attention he actually tweeted "Rt this if you want to watch Brothers" and put a link to his Drishyam review 😆. I couldn't believe some Sid fans fell for it and retweeted.
