Her challenging post to their films clashing hurt her mentor

There were shockwaves in B-Town when Shah Rukh Khan announced the release of his film Dilwale on the date booked by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the Deepika Padukone starrer Bajirao Mastani.

There was speculation that Bhansali might back out from thedate because who wants to take on SRK, really. But SLB decided to stick to the date. The announcement of that came from DP on social media when she announced the news saying "Challenge accepted." to the effect that she and her team were up for the challenge " both films release on December 18 " and will look to get the upper hand at the box-office.

Says a source, "Competitiveness is one thing. But you cannot have this attitude towards the man who gave you a break and made you a star. SRK was not happy with her attitude, but he is not the kind to make a public display of his emotions. He launched her and he even set an example with Chennai Express when he insisted that his leading lady's name come ahead of his."

Deepika probably got wind of the fact that King Khan was miffed with her and she deleted the comment from social media, but by then it had been seen by a lot of people and the damage had been done."
