Each and every theater enters the number in Rentak which is updated as a database. With Box office Mojo, one needs to see what they are reporting clearly. There are "estimates" initially and then there are the final numbers. The problem creeps in for non US folks who fail to see the difference in reporting. If its Rentrak eventually all numbers will be same, no under reporting.

I knew about BOMJ, but because now figures are reported different & you guys are from abroad, so i ask here, never knew i m stupid enough that i don't watch holly films & i don't know about BOMJ's Authenticity.
