Ajay without Rohit Shetty does not make a pretty reading - Page 3

With the exception of Rajneeti, as that chart shows up, every time Ajay comes with RS, the BO of that film is more than triple of his previous and forthcoming films (that don't have RS). Look at Singham Returns (140 crores)- Action Jackson after it made about 50 crores, and Satyagraha and Himmatwala before it made 40-50 crores each. Also Singham 1 made 100 crores, the film before it and after it both made about 30 crores. The same is true for Golmaal 3. I can't give him full credit for Rajneeti either, because that had Ranbir-Katrina who were hot right after Ajab Prem. And SOS was a remake of a SS Rajamouli film, and we've seen how strong his movies are this month. Plus there was the JTHJ clash hype.

Ajay said this film Drishyam will pick up slowly .

RS survived coz of Ajay only, Ajay trusted him, that's y he got Big with each film with Ajay. Which star has that much confidence to do 9 films back 2 back? Ajay did with RS.

RS came in 2006, Ajay is from 1992, if u see whole career, ajay had survived pretty well without him for sure.

Ajay was hit in 90s.

But started waning post 2000. After that he has worked in fits and starts.

Those who think Ajay is what he is due to Rohit Shetty seem to have been born yesterday. 😆

Those who called him flopstar are those whose own favs couldn't even dare to clash with a senior and give a superhit the way Ajay did with his debut itself.

Ajay just did a couple of bad films recently. That's why a poor record now.

Plus he is the only one who still hasn't taken marketing, media and PR seriously though these are necessary in today's times.

Rohit Shetty owes a lot to Devgans and not the other way round. Devgans helped their family after his father's demise, Rohit used to assist in Ajay's films, when no one else was willing to even look at Rohit, that's when Ajay was the only established, National Award winning, saleable star who agreed to work with him. The films that first made people think Rohit Shetty was a saleable director were with Ajay only.
