Sidharth?? Nope. He would totally ruin it.

Karan was the the most complex character of the lot. The emotional restrain and the subletly that Sidharth brought was truly exceptional.

For example take the scene where Ajay propose to Sonia; the way Karan looks at her; tells one that he has feelings for her. Its just right to put the thought out there; to give the character another dimession and add to the story withouth spiling. Also subtle enough so that it doest overshadow the enitre scene and make a mess of it. Incredibly hard to do as an actor.

Don't see anyone else bringing that to the table espesially the likes of Sidharth who are below par as it is; even in ordinary roles.

As you said, it is very hard to find anyone who could re-enact those roles; most of all, DJ and Karan.

Guys you are naming the casts but what about the directors. Who is going to make the movies??

For me, Speed would be a good movie to re-make in BW.

Aditya, Kareena and Nawaz to star. Neeraj or Bejoy to direct.

BW doesnt have the capability to make a movie like The Dark Knight. It is one of the greatest cinematic acheivements of all time. For starters who is going to direct it??

Regarding the joker; again I don't think anyone could potray the character. Its a cultural thing. Joker goes way beyond the normal acting talent. Its such a complex role to master and to potray. You have to be fimiliar with the character, its history, what it stands for and so on.

And Hrithik as Batman?? No, no and no. Way to ruin the character.

From the newer lot , could think of only him being somewhat close to Karan's character. Varun & Ranveer will go OTT in many scenes. ARK .. possible but somehow dont feel like he will fit the bill.

Maybe we can have someone else as DJ & Shahid as Karan who was anyways the original choice for that role before it went to Siddharth Narayan 😆

Aditya could work. He is good actor and wont go OTT.

Shahid would be even better.

Oh OT, I would absolutely love to watch Ranveer Singh in a movie like Ustad hotel. I'm pretty sure he would bring his own stuff to the table and ace the role. Ranveer is known to be OTT offscreen but he is so good at subtle roles. The guy is versatile, watching him in a coming of age movie that celebrates food would be a treat to watch.
