Poor guy..If those statues had an option, even they wouldn't watch..He is calling it business expansion but no one is seeing the desperation..Its a shame that he couldn't find a distributor😲 Why is he still hell bent on clashing? Is he planning to produce, promote, distribute & watch the film himself a million times so he can declare its a hit while the rest of the world watches BM? 😆

Producers sell the film to distributors who sell the film to theaters and get screens. Thus producers generally always make money while distributors can lose money. If you produce and distribute yourself, the profit margin can be bigger or you might have to make less money to get into profit zone (I think anyways).

I could be totally wrong here, but I think it means he's taking a big risk by basically putting up the cost of pushing the movie into the theaters. In return all the profits are his as by acting as a distributor he has gotten rid of the middleman. It might also lower the threshold for a blockbuster or all time blockbuster as the profits are only based on how much Red Chillies has spent on the movie and nothing else. Again, this is totally my guess from what I think a distributor does. I'm sure the business details of it is much more complicated.

It could be a sign of confidence as he feels the movie will make enormous business and he wants the whole pie. Or it could be a strategy of lowering the risk by keeping profits/losses internal. Or as I said above, I could be totally wrong about the whole thing 😆
