Won't save him from jail if he has to go, but it will help his image.

2. Can I report on issues that are sub-judice?
Answer: Yes, reporters and publishers can cover cases which are sub-judice provided there is no express bar placed on them by a Court which is seized of the matter. Usually certain proceedings such as those in family courts and involving accusations of rape are held in-camera and their publication is not permitted.
Reasoning: The Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 states under Sec. 4 that, "Subject to the provisions contained in section 7, a person shall not be guilty of contempt of court for publishing a fair and accurate report of a judicial proceeding or any stage thereof." Section 7, contains provisions relating to in-camera proceedings and states a publication on it is not generally prohibited and will not constitute contempt until, (a) when the publication is contrary to the provisions of a law; (b) when the Court on grounds of public policy or in exercise of any power vested in it, expressly prohibits the publication; (c) where the in-camera hearing is connected with public order or the security of the State; (d) here the information relates to a secret process, discovery or invention which is an issue in the proceedings.
Further with respect to cases which have been disposed off, Sec. 5 states that, "A person shall not be guilty of contempt of court for publishing any fair comment on the merits of any case which has been heard and finally decided." It must be mentioned that the Supreme Court has recently reserved a judgement on the issue and will be framing guidelines on media reporting of sub-judice matters.
Effect: Reporters, until expressly barred from reporting on issues which are sub-judice are permitted to report on it. This has to be within the confines of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 and not prejudice or interferes with the due course of any judicial proceeding.

Salman's films after 2002 Accident case has been affected badly, Flops/Average, even made his decade's report, only 5 clean hits. Last year of decade, with Wanted he tasted that success which he was having in 90's.

If Session court wouldn't have taken 13 years, judgement in a 1 year, he would have moved on to High Court, again 1 year, SC again 1 year, by 3 years he would have either been sentenced to jail or would have gotten freedom from case.

But from past 13 years, 2 cases humiliating his image, media after him, writing him off like anything. It has to be noted that NONE of this kind of article came from 2002-2009, not even from 2010-2012, but just when Salman delivered back 2 back BlockBuster, what happened?

From past 5 years, 7 films now huge success & u starts writing Articles on What should have done to this guy?

How many articles does this writer & Shobha De has written for Ronit Roy or any other Celeb who has met with this kind of accident?? None.

So just coz Salman got Success, he ain't worthy getting chance to get legal help in his cases 👏

Probably I didn't put it clear enough...DUI is a punishable offense even if it is done once ...it cannot be classified a mistake...numerous times was mentioned for the example cited above...

Who says it's PUNISHABLE? Law of INDIA, right? So according to same Law, you can appeal in Higher Court, then Supreme Court. So why everybody is offended just coz Salman went in High Court.

I guess Salman Khan is only Indian who isn't having any right to go n seek Legal help in High Court?? Is it so?

Articles were there back then as well. But internet was not a big medium back then.
Anyway, there are many criminals in our country. They are free to go to any higher court. The problem isnt that. The problem is time taken by the system to deliver justice. The problem is Sallu bhai is minting money while the people who died because of him were sole bread earners of their family. He paid the court and it didnt reach them or whatever.

The problem is life isn't fair to the poor. The problem is poor people are put behind bars even if they are innocent while the rich walk free even if they are guilty. That's the problem. So yes most of us are outraged. We have all the rights to do so. And you have all the rights to support him or whatever (Though I dont really understand what is there to support when he clearly is the culprit).

I dont care who Salman is. If he is criminal,he needs to be behind bars. And so does every criminal in this country. This isnt hatred towards Salman, this is hatred towards every criminal in this country.

If he really has a heart of gold, why did he think it was okay to put the blame that poor bodyguard of his?

Im sorry, but i cannot find any logic in this. Or he just has a dual personalities.

You know,to be very honest,I watched a Salman Khan film in the theatre after a really long time and I noticed that all that is said is true. His fans are really dedicated. The loudest whistles and claps.
I was practically deaf by the end.😆

He is honestly very lucky. Its unfortunate that the people who died didnt have even 0.00001% of that luck.

Would any of you have the same thoughts if any of your dear one died in this?

Apne pe jab guzarti hai na,tab hi samaj mein aati hai.

Learn to be a bit more empathetic, guys. Im not saying all Salman fans are the same, but its just that some comments practically worship Salman, even when he is at fault. Love is blind. What can I say.
