Bajrangi and Bahubali caused delay in Bangistan release

Bangistan's release date has now been postponed to August 7. Earlie, the film was to hit the screens on July 31. Riteish Deshmukh, who plays a Muslim character in the film, took to Twitter to share the news.

Reportedly, Ritesh Sidhwani stated that since the current releases Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan and SS Rajamouli's Baahubali still continue to rule the box office, releasing Bangistan at a later date would be more beneficial for the film. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, confirmed the same.

Due to unprecedented demand and historic collections of #BajrangiBhaijaan and #Baahubali,#Bangistan now shifted to 7 August.

Bangistan revolves around two wannabe terrorists who decide to swap their religion in order to finish the other community. Apart from Riteish, the film also stars Pulkit Samrat, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arya Babbar.
