SRK was a rage back then with mega-blockbusters like DDLJ, KA, DTPH, Yes Boss, Pardes and KKHH in 1995 to 1999 period. You can't just do a HSSH and Border and tell me Salman and Sunny were no.1

Fine, Brian Lara is no.1 test cricketer cause of 400, Rohit Sharma no. 1 ODI cricketer cause of 264 and Sam Worthington no. 1 superstar of Hollywood cause of Avatar. BTW Sholay and Mughal-e-azam are bigger hits than HAHK or DDLJ. If you seriously think HAHK was a mega hit only cause of Salman starpowe, we need to end the discussion right here right now.

You think they going to change 16 straight years at the top? Sallu se na ho payega yeh. Right now he at 5. For 11 straight more, that will be year 2026. Let's see. Still more than a decade left. Who knows what will happen?

This is exactly like Amitabh Bachchan run from 1976 to 1990 sixteen years. Didn't Jitendraa, Dharmendra, Mithun, Manoj Kumar had bigger hits? Were they considered no. 1? No. Even now Aamir gave D3 and PK still Salman no. 1? Why? It's all about the market value of that star on a consistent basis. Bade aaye Box office aur starpower ko samajhne wale!

16 years at the top?? Exaggeration much?? His best period was late 90's to 2005 where he was dominating.

Certainly hasn't been at the top in the last decade (top three for sure but not the top).

Who said Salman is no.1?? The last decade has been dominated by Aamir.
