This has to do with starpower and renumeration at that time. A highest grosser by some actor ranked no, 5 in previous year doesn't make him no. 1 suddenly.

No. 2 3 4 5 keep changing but No. 1 only SRK. This is mind-boggling consistency at the TOP. Can only be compared with Dilip Kumar or Amitabh Bachchan.

1997 = 2

2. DTPH - BB

3. Pardes = SuperHit

Only 3 Films HIT in 4 years, 1996, 1999 not even Single SRK film in Top 10 Highest Grossing.

On which basis, BOI has given him 3420 Points on just 3 films? 825 STARTING POINTS on Which basis?? DDLJ pe, so Salman had 2 ATBB before 1996?

Salman being No.1 from 2010 justifies as he has given 6 BLOCKBUSTERS, 3rd Biggest Grosser so far, 3 Films in ALL TIME Grossers, nothing like this Srk did in 90's 🤣

You cannot forget and disregard the flops of a star. Salman had lots of them. You cannot credit only Salman for HAHK or SRK for DDLJ. Those were mega hits based on content let alone crediting Salman for his debut MPK. Salman had disaster 1995 and 1996 and 1997 and mediocre 1998 when you compare to SRK. Just one 1999 can't bring you to the top. I am sorry it doesn't work like that. Salman rose to top category only after 2010.
